rajar - research into listening figures

this chart shows the listenign figures of all the shows covered by rajar.

Because I have analysed Radio 1 as part of my textual analysis , I will be focusing on the figures for Radio 1 for 2010.

since the last time I had a look at rajars listening figure count for Radio 1 it has increased considerably. Showing that the average changes within a very short space of time frequently through out the year.
The chart shows that Radio 1 has reached this year to date 116,470 listeners , who on average listen to the station for 1.9 hours per head.

Interestingly though, Radio 2's figure are considerably higher by around 20,000, reaching 136,820 so far this year. as a young listener I would have expected Radio 1's figure to be higher as Radio 1 seems to be alot more popular with its target audience.
