blood brothers review

INT. AUDIO WORKSHOP

Blood Brothers Musical review

The recently refurbished ‘west end musical’ blood brothers, written by Willy Russell and now Directed by Bob Thomson, had brought smiles and tears to all that watch it.
This moving play, with a new cast had has been said to be “Outstanding” and “Brilliant!” with most praising Niki Evans’ performance as Mrs Johnston saying “What a voice!” The general consensus from the audience has been particularly positive.
The Play is about two brothers that have been separated at birth and are then brought to close encounters due to anger. One living with his natural mother (Mrs Johnston), and the other with her employer; abusing him since he was young.
The play lasts 2hrs and 45mins, which will go very quickly as the show draws you in.
The main reason that the show has done so well, is definitely due to the cast, which is unfortunate because the director and the cast change regularly.
There have been 133 reviews on the reviewcentre.com from the audience and the overall average came out at 4.4 out of 5, this was including one professional critic review and value for money.
