Sister act the musical is on at the London Palladium seven days a week and has had excellent reviews saying it’s funny, outrageous but very tasteful and suitable for all ages. A New mother Superior was revealed recently to be Sally Dexter after Whoopi Goldberg played her role for just three weeks in august. The new show nun has made appearances in Billy Elliott as Teacher Mrs Wilkinson and Bad Girls the Musical back in 2007at the Garrick Theatre, alongside her the Blue singer Simon Webb playing Curtis Shank and Dad’s Army’s Ian Lavender playing Monsignor. The show will unfortunately end this month on the 30th after a four month run, but will be replaced by none other than the Wizard of Oz.
The show starring Danielle Hope starts next year, and they are getting ready as tickets are on sale now! The hit show hosted by Graham Norton “Over the Rainbow” finished over the summer, and left us with a vivacious and daring Dorothy. The show is on seven days a week.
Chicago is coming up to the end of its five year run next year, and everyone involved in the fantastic show case is absolutely devastated it’s going to end. BUT, the powers that be have decided to tour the US, so it sounds like it’s not quite over yet, as the show has done so well in the UK. Starting in Florida, then to Ohio and Orlando and then to Memphis the show will only be in the states for a month.
